Cloudteam Company Elevates Its Hiring and Onboarding

Combining Cloud CRM and ERP Expertise

Cloudteam Company is a Salesforce consulting partner, specializing in cloud solutions for CRM and ERP. With offices in the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK, as well as remote workers in other European countries, Cloudteam Company offers a range of advisory and implementation services to help customers run their businesses better, faster, and smarter.

“In essence, our mission is to combine CRM and ERP to help clients manage their business end-to-end on Salesforce,” explains CEO and founder Gert-Jan ter Weeme. “We help them automate and digitize their entire operations.”

As Cloudteam Company started to grow, there was a need for an efficient solution for hiring and onboarding new consultants. To complicate matters, the HR module they were using was discontinued. Searching for a new platform to store all of its HR data, the Salesforce consultancy discovered flair.

With flair, Cloudteam Company has benefitted from having one system for all its employee and candidate data. Gert-Jan explains, "If I need to find information about an employee, I can just open Salesforce, go into flair, and see all the data. For example, I can check when the employee was last promoted, when their salary was increased, and all the documents behind this."

Establishing an Efficient, Automated Hiring Funnel

Cloudteam Company implemented flair and set up a career portal to showcase its open positions. Job applications are then stored in the flair Recruiting app, where they can be evaluated. “If I am attending a job interview, I can easily and directly see who else interviewed that person and check their comments,” says Gert-Jan. “I can see who is in the pipeline, at which stage, and add my own evaluation. For me it’s a no-brainer to have it all in one system.”

Using flair, Cloudteam Company advertises jobs on platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed. The job postings are also linked to the position management feature in flair, giving Cloudteam Company a clear overview of the positions they are currently hiring for and helping them to plan resources for upcoming projects.

Automating Onboarding for New Employees

Once an employee is hired, Cloudteam Company uses flair workflows to provide the new hire and other colleagues with onboarding checklists to complete. Tasks range from entering employee information to ordering any equipment the employee will need. “Without an app like flair, you can easily forget a task,” says Diana Momcilovic, Salesforce Consultant at Cloudteam Company. “But with flair’s workflows, we can easily track the current progress of a task, and pick it up again if someone is out of office.”

Cloudteam Company also uses flair workflows to manage employee development and training, as well as the offboarding process. For instance, thanks to the inventory management feature, managers can see which equipment an employee has received so they can return it before they leave the company. Workflows are tailored to different roles and each of the company’s locations, ensuring a personalized series of tasks for every employee.

End-to-End Document Management

Besides recruitment, onboarding, and inventory management, Cloudteam Company also uses flair to streamline its document management. By creating document templates for standard parts of contracts, the team can generate professional documents and save time on repetitive admin. With defined approval flows and integrated e-signatures, Cloudteam Company can more efficiently manage its documents end-to-end.

Moving forward, Cloudteam Company is working on connecting flair with Certinia, its PSA (professional services automation) solution, to further enhance resource planning with flair skills and absence management.
